Natural Edge Vessels
Natural edge bowls are formed when the natural contour of the tree trunk is incorporated into the rim of the vessel. These are typically finished with an oil based finish and can be occasionally re-oiled to help brighten the wood and preserve it. They can be used for function or decoration. Many of these items are turned when the wood is still wet or green and as a result of the drying process, they will warp which gives each item a unique look.
